The Antidote to the Big Airport
  • Persons dropping off or picking up passengers/travelers at HIA are reminded that it is against federal regulation to leave your vehicle unattended at the front curb.  Unattended vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.

  • No animals, other than service dogs, are permitted in the terminal building, unless they are in portable kennels designed for travel.  Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

  • Please view the below link for more information on picketing at HIA.

  • At Harrisburg International Airport, it is our goal to provide a recycling program to our customers to recycle newspapers, magazines, aluminum, glass, and plastic. Throughout the the terminal building you will find recycling stations where you can recycle your newspaper or magazine or a beverage container made from aluminum, glass, or plastic. It is SARAA's goal to recycle as much reusable material generated by customers, increase the amount of recyclables collected in the terminal, and continue to develop a simple and convenient collection system that encourages participation.

Thank you for recycling at Harrisburg International Airport!
