The Antidote to the Big Airport

2007 International traffic into and out of our region via HIA has increased by 30 percent since 2003.  By identifying what regional businesses are driving to other airports to fly internationally, we’ll be able to go to the appropriate airline(s) and make a stronger business case for more competitive international fares and larger aircraft to key International hubs.

In fact, there may even be a few International destinations to which future nonstop charter flights could be offered on a regular basis.
