Getting to and from the airport.

As you arrive at Harrisburg International Airport, there are a number of options available to you to complete your journey. Rental car agencies, taxi service, bus service, and hotel shuttles are located on the first floor of our Multi-Modal Transportation Facility (MMTF). We've listed phone numbers below, and in some cases Web site links, to public bus transportation, taxi service, and area hotels that provide ground transportation for their registered guests.

All ground transportation providers must have a valid ground transportation agreement with the Airport Authority to pick up passengers in the ground transportation center of the parking garage. For details call (717) 948-3900 Monday through Friday from 9 am until 4 pm.

Taxi Service
Should you need taxi service from the airport , please proceed to the center of the first floor of the parking garage just beyond the rental-car counters to meet a waiting taxi.

Hotel Shuttle Bus Service
Many of the hotels in our area provide shuttle bus service to and from the hotel for their registered guests. Phones for some of these hotels are available in the baggage claim area on the lower level. Hotel Shuttle Service is subject to change without notice and hours vary. A partial list of local hotels is available here.  

Public Bus Transportation
Route 7 of the Capital Area Transit System provides bus transportation to and from Harrisburg International Airport. The bus service is available Monday through Friday between approximately 6 am and 8 pm and Saturdays between approximately 7 am and 6 pm. There is no Sunday service. Bus schedules are also available on the flight information display units in the baggage claim area, and on the 1^st floor of the garage - in the ground transportation center.
